Lunch in Nacogdoches

Our usual stop at the Clear Springs Restaurant for lunch. The World's Greatest Onion Rings.  That say it, and I would agree they are awesome.

Off to the Piney Woods

We are meeting up for breakfast in Forney for a nice ride through east Texas heading to Jasper with a lunch break in Nacogdoches.  Looks to be a great day to ride with our friends.

Hill Country Ride

It was nice of David Adams to put together an impromptu ride and camping weekend in Kerrville and the great roads of the hill country.  He got a nice group of us to join in for both the ride and the camping.  Camping is not for me and a few others, but we will all have a great time.

Chillin' at The Pine Creek Lodge in Nacogdoches

Great ride today with our friends today.  Weather was awesome.

Lunch in Palestine

It had been a great ride so far.  FM 315 is awesome.  Lunch time and a first Texas Cafe stop for many of us.

Breakfast Meetup Before the Ride

We have a good group of riders for the trip to Nacogdoches.  It should be a lot of fun!

The Weather Gods are Getting Nicer!

The forecast keeps improving.  That is great news.  It should be a great weekend with friends in East Texas.

The East Texas Extravaganza

Well the day has finally arrived and it is time for the East Texas Extravaganza.  While the weather has been looking less than stellar, we are still going to have a great time in East Texas. Unfortunately Mother Nature has changed the plans of a number of our members who are driving and not riding. 2 or 4 wheels does not matter as we will have a great time together on this spring weekend.

The Historic Coleman Theater

We were hanging in front of the theater and a gentleman stopped and asked us if we would like a tour.  We accepted and he went how to get the key.  Awesome timing!

Getting our Route 66 on!

We are spending some time visiting the sites on Historic Route 66.

The National Rod and Custom Car Museum

The first museum stop of day 2.

Day 2 - Short Ride but Great Stops

It is a little bit nippy this morning.
We are not riding a lot of miles today, but we're going to have a great time visiting some great places.  We will keep you posted!

Group Dinner for Saturday night

We rode to downtown Tahlequah for dinner at The Grill.  It is a cool sports bar near the university.

Arrived in Tahlequah

Had a nice 365 mile ride today.  The Triumph Tiger Explorer did just fine.  We have a great group of 13 bikes.  Chillin' until dinner time!

Our first museum stop of the ride. There are many more.

A museum visit in Muskogee, OK.  Cool!

Lunch in Antlers, OK

Finally starting to warm up.  Our planned stop at The Hungry Horse Cafe will not happen as they closed last week.  Oh well, Mexican food will work.

Gathering up in Wylie

Carroll and I were the first to arrive.
